Campaign SightFirst II Day: One day, one action, a lifetime of sight

Lions are selecting one day as “Campaign SightFirst II Day” during the week of May 11-17, 2008, to act for CSFII.  Please join the thousands of clubs worldwide who will make an additional impact and will provide “Vision for All” for millions of people. 

Some ideas for how your club can participate in CSFII Day:

1. Brainstorm ideas with club members of how your club can change the world through Campaign SightFirst II Day:

• Designate a new Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) for CSFII
• Three over Three—designate one MJF per year, each year, for the next three years to save 500 people from blindness
• Make a Club Commitment payable over three to five years
• Hold an additional club fundraiser or event
• Harness “The Power of 30”– Each US$180 donation to CSFII saves 30 people from blindness

2. Select one day during the week of May 11-17, 2008 to implement your plan.

3. Inform the CSFII office of your club’s Campaign SightFirst II Day success so your efforts for sight can be included in CSFII’s final funds-raised total.
